Do you Take Insurance?

Some of our providers accept insurance while some do not. Each provider is individually paneled. The ability to accept insurance is also dependent up the services. You can explore each provider to identify services offered and payment accepted. You can connect with each provider directly for more information on insurance accepted and for which services.  

Do you Offer a Superbill?

Check with individual providers. You will want to check with your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network benefits. 

What is a Superbill?

A superbill is a receipt of services to include diagnosis. You can then provide this to your insurance company for possible reimbursement based on your policy’s benefits. If you have additional questions about this, you are able to call the customer service line on the back of your insurance card for more information.  

Do you Offer a Sliding Scale?

You will want to check with individual providers. Independent providers operate on their own policies. Typically, if reduced fee options are available slots are often limited, but always worth the ask. 

Do you Offer In-Person Sessions?

This would be specific to each individual clinician. For those who do offer in-person sessions, the office is located at 12401 E. 434d St. S., Suite 271, Independence, MO 64055. We do ask that if you are feeling physically ill and showing symptoms of physical illness that you do not come into the office but instead move your appointment to virtual or cancel. Contact your provider to get specific information on their cancellation or rescheduling policy. If you are attending in-person, service animals are always allowed, however we are unable to accommodate for emotional support animals. 

Do you Offer Virtual Sessions?

Virtual sessions would be specific to each individual clinician. Online therapy is based on where the clinician is licensed. Online sessions are conducted similar to in-person sessions. All parties participating should be in a secure location that maximizes visual and auditory privacy. Virtual sessions are required to be held over a HIPAA compliant system to protect your privacy. 

How do I Book a Session?
